LRMA is an Incubator project that will supply Local Resource Manager Adaptor (LRMA) modules for Globus components that interfacing with local resource management (LRM) systems.

Status
The status of LRMA is: Newly accepted Incubator Project November 8, 2006, as defined by the Incubator Process Guidelines found at http://dev.globus.org/wiki/Incubator/Incubator_Process .
Roadmap
Q1 2007 focus areas are:
- incubator documentation
- moving existing Globus Fork, PBS, Condor, and LSF local resource manager adaptors into the incubator project
Q2 2007 focus areas are:
- including additional local resource manager adaptors. Candidates include SGE, LoadLeveler, and GridWay
- add support for commonly used extensions supported by local resource managers, like reservation ID
- extend node property support across more adaptors
- extend TeraGrid SoftEnv support across more adaptors
Other future focus areas include:
- standardized adaptor test suite
- integrating JSDL support
- improved logging and debugging

- ws-gram/discovery/providers/setup
- ws-gram/service/java/setup
- ws-gram/job_management
- ws-gram/job_monitoring
