MonMan is an Incubator project that aims to provide a set of configurable MDS4 information providers for locating, monitoring and managing Grid resources.
MonMan provides a patch for PBS and SGE information providers which allows the monitoring of a customized set of Grid specific scheduling queues.
It furthermore offers the information provider module 'GeoMaint', which allows a description and geographic localization of dispersed Grid sites as well as their maintainance status. It provides a dynamic google map which allows the visualization of that information using WebMDS.
Incubator Product Overview
1. Geolocation and Maintenance (GeoMaint): - an information provider for geographic information - an information provider for maintenance messages - an XSLT-view that is able to view the GeoMaint information as a table and as a dynamically created GoogleMap 2. Configurable information providers for local resource management systems (LRMS): - Currently supported LRMS are the SGE and PBS scheduler
