Incubator/OGCE
From Globus
Contents |
This project entered hibernation May 21, 2007. It is not an active Incubation project.
OGCE is an Incubator project that builds computational Grid and science gateway Web ports, Grid client tools, and supporting software. OGCE provides client environments for the Globus Toolkit 4 (supporting both Web Service and pre-Web Service versions), the Storage Resource Broker, and Condor. The portal environment also allows for the integration of collaboration tools and services.

Roadmap
Note: This project does not currently publish a roadmap via the Globus Bugzilla
Code: Read Access
To check out the code you can use an svn client. From the command line you can use
For OGCE2-2.0 integrated installation: svn co http://svn.globus.org/repos/ogce/ogce2-2.0 For OGCE2 Web Site (in XDoc): svn co http://svn.globus.org/repos/ogce/ogce2-website For the entire SVN reposiotry: svn co http://svn.globus.org/repos/ogce/
This SVN repository replaces our older CVS repository, which is still available for historical purposes: http://www.ogce.org/viewcvs/viewcvs.cgi/
Code: Write Access
The code is available for the committers through the following command
svn checkout svn+ssh://svn.globus.org/disks/svn.globus.org/repos/ogce/ogce2-2.0
Please, be reminded that you must have an account on svn.globus.org and that you need to use public key authentication for access to the code.Note: MacOSX users: we seem to have some difficulties with the svn clients on Mac. This includes the fink and non fink versions. You need to possibly authenticate three times for some reason. We have not identified where the problem is. We suggest you use ssh-agent. Also, SSHKeyChain for Mac OS X is an easy to use GUI intereface for ssh-agent.
Other code repositories
In addition to the globdev repository, we intend also to make a repository available through sourceforge. We will post more information about this here shortly.
